Calangute property, The Park decided to try out an adults-only concept in its four-storey property that faces channels nfthe Baga River. Located on the Baga—Arpora road, the hotel is a morning jog away from the beach. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are arranged readily with a pool bar, Aqua, serving cocktails and coastal cuisine in tandem with a 24-hour restaurant, Saltwater. For the mornlngs-after, a hangover cure is included in the breakfast buffet. unless you prefer hair of The dog at the lobby bar. The hotel is rather tightlipped about its ‘romantic offerlngs’, but fantasy games for honeymooners and aphrodisiacs for those over the hill are on the secret menu. for a hotel that boasts of its privacy quotient, its pool placement is unenviable, with two neighbouring houses enjoying box-Seat views of the pool beds.
SIMPLE BY DESIGN
The hotel’s austere white facade belies its novelty. The interiors of its 28 rooms are reminiscent of a modern-art gallery, the supremacy of geometric lines broken by sepia.photographs and abstract Mixed-media artworks. in an ode to the Portuguese, bold dashes of yellow make measured appearances all over the hotel.
